PURPOSE:

* Need a highly motivated individual with the capability to manage $30M annually in travel and entertainment spend for the Americas region, developing world class processes to effectively control the spend globally and scale to support anticipated growth along with the corporation.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES/DUTIES:

* Responsible for managing the supply base strategy covering Travel Spend including Travel Agency, Airline, Hotel, Car Rental and Leasing and Corporate Meetings/Events.

* Assess current travel plans and strategies development short and long term goals and objectives to reduce spend and optimize supply base

* Develop Global/Regional Strategy based on assessment

* Develop metrics to be used to measure team performance and supplier performance

* Manage the overall travel performance to meet stakeholders expectations

* Manage the agency/agencies used globally/regionally and conduct regular quarterly business reviews

* Lead/Conduct negotiations on pricing and terms and conditions with Agencies, Airlines, Hotels and Car Rental Companies

* Responsible to develop short term and long term cost reduction strategies

* Responsible to facilitate regular team meetings with global stakeholders

* Responsible to report overall Travel Performance to Sr. Management on Qtrly basis

Job Requirements

REQUIRED (MUST-HAVE) QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

* Must have managed travel for a large spend corporation (excess $30M Annually)

* Must have 3 years travel commodity management experience

* Excellent oral and written skills

* 8-10 years supply chain and/or sourcing experience including extensive involvement in contract negotiations

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* MBA, CPM, APICS
