Our Client, a fantastic boutique advertising agency located in Manhattan, is seeking a VP of Client Services to oversee a confidential Travel Client.

Oversee client services in New York who is a perfect mix of leader, manager, operator and marketer. We are seeking a candidate who:
• HAS EXPERIENCE IN THE TRAVEL INDUSTRY
• Has world class client management skills
• Is a strategic marketer with a love for great creative work
• Is a natural leader and mentor
• Is an operator who is comfortable with financial management
• Understands how and when to pursue new business opportunities
• Understands technology, media, communications and product as well as the intersection of all four
• Loves what we do and never settles
• Works tirelessly to make sure the company is constantly evolving and improving
• Raises the profile of the company by elevating the brand/expertise of the agency
General Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all key client stakeholders
• Personally oversee the relationship with one key travel client
• Make sure all work is on brand, on strategy and achieves all objectives
• Act as an escalation path for key issues
• Ensure that we always exceed expectations
• Create consistent process across all clients
• Lead, inspire, mentor and train team
• Improve collaboration, staff growth plans and management best practices
• Create consistent processes and work flow
• Oversee P&L
• Handle high level business affairs
• Drive year over year new business growth with existing clients
• Play an active role in the new business process
• Transition new clients into the company seamlessly
Basic Qualifications:
• 10-15 years of successful management, leadership, marketing and client services
• Experience in the travel industry. Digital travel experience a plus
• Strategy, research, planning expertise
• Ability to judge the difference between good and great creative
• Attention to detail, quality, and the many nuances of relationship building
• Passion for people and an infectious sense of curiosity
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
• Financial management skills
