Profile

Manage and oversee the appropriate staff to deliver facility, maintenance, product reporting and documents functions for MLT Vacations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the workload of the appropriate staff to ensure maximum productivity.
Ensure staff members have a clear understanding of their individual responsibilities and of the department's goals, and how these relate to MLT Inc.’s business.  Provide the necessary tools for designated employees to develop their knowledge and skills.
Oversee all work  related to the maintenance of MLT’s Operations Center including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, custodial, grounds and security.
Create office space design plans and coordinate moves with applicable and approved resources.
Oversee the ordering and tracking of inventory supplies, vouchers, ticket stock, and payment for negotiable vouchers and express services.
Manage and negotiate applicable facility service contracts and the purchase of capital equipment.
Provide direction to the Print Services, Product, Documents and Facilities department staff.
Generate, analyze and distribute reports pertaining to assigned responsibilities.
Coordinate courier services, verify billings and evaluate service levels and costs.
Prepare and administer the department budget.
Regularly evaluate processes and implement changes to improve efficiency.
Comply with all corporate and departmental policies/procedures and applicable governmental regulations. Ensure corresponding compliance of staff members.
Attend and participate in meetings that pertain to assigned responsibilities.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 
Occasional Responsibilities:
Interview, select and train appropriate staff members.
Prepare and deliver appropriate staff’s performance and salary reviews in a timely manner.  Work with employees on any performance issues.
Review and process time cards in a timely manner.
Operate a forklift and company vehicle to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
Provide support outside of regular business hours.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Educational/Skill Requirements:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four years of travel industry experience including documents and ticketing preferred.
Knowledge of facilities or operational management, including Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire safety and security preferred.  
Must demonstrate the ability to supervise and/or manage people.
Knowledge of MLT Inc.’s programs, policies, procedures and computerized reservations systems preferred.
Strong PC skills including MS Word and Excel preferred.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and solve problems in a timely and accurate manner.  Make strategic recommendations and enhancements.
Strong mathematical aptitude required.
Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate to management, staff, customers and vendors as well as demonstrate sound judgement/reasoning skills.
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
