General Job Description:
You're organized and professional with excellent communication and customer service skills. In this role you will work under general supervision to give daily tours of the campus at both 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. You will fill in for the 2nd course recruiter on an as-needed basis, collaborate with other departments to ensure overall student satisfaction, and assist with other Admissions Department functions as assigned by the Director of Admissions. Most importantly, you will provide all prospective students and campus visitors with informative and interactive tours of our learning facilities and make a difference in the lives of many.
• Conduct a walking tour through all campus shops to provide visitors and prospective enrolling students with an informative and customer responsive representation of our campus and program offerings• Provide tours twice a day; tour duration is ~1.5 hours
• Conduct a tour summary to answer all questions• Promptly respond to all mail communications, emails, and phone calls pertaining to tours and high school visits• Send out appropriate information packets to interested individuals and guidance counselors as needed• Check enrolled student’s admissions files to see if any additional data is required to complete the enrollment process (i.e. diplomas, transcripts, signatures, etc.)• Call incoming students to acquire required documentation such as diplomas and enrollment agreements to complete their file• Obtain knowledge and training of the 2nd course recruiter position to serve as back-up for that position as required• Maintain the tour greeting and welcome area to provide a professional appearance• Send follow-up letters• Review and collate the tour evaluation comments for DOA evaluation• Learn the enrollment process and documentation procedures to assist the Admissions Department in preparation for quarterly registrations• Update the Tour Guide continuity book as needed• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the DOA or other designated admissions staff','!*!• High school diploma or equivalent degree• 1-3 years relevant work experience• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong oral communication skills, including phone skills
