At CWT, we're hiring a Travel Program Account Manager. The primary objective of the role is to retain or grow existing business by providing travel management consultation to clients to help them reduce business travel costs, to continually monitor service levels and to maximize the profitable services we provide.
Scope of Position:

Major Areas of Responsibility:
Focus on Customer
-Negotiate rates with vendors on behalf of clients based upon knowledge of client travel patterns and carrier market condition to maximize cost savings opportunities. Works with Account Management team or Sales Team on rebids as necessary.
-Develop aggressive data-gathering strategies to learn customers needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
-Prepare and present quarterly reviews for client's senior management that highlight program results, benchmark service, key expense trends and cost savings opportunities.
-Work as the liaison on with all CWT on behalf of the customer to ensure appropriate are allocated resulting in a win for the client and a

-Design and deliver effective and profitable client business plans which result in win-win solutions.
-Set up measurements to track both service and cost savings performance versus industry and contractual benchmarks and monitors ongoing performance.
-Monitor all aspects of the travel agreement to ensure compliance and ensures that upon renewal, all necessary adjustments are made to the contract from the customer and CWT's standpoint.
-Identify potential incremental business opportunities; develop and implement strategies to take advantage of them.
-Monitors profitability and develops strategy to amend contractual issues that would bring unprofitable contracts up to acceptable profit standards.

-Build Client Relationships that are based on mutually desirable outcomes.
-Candidly and directly raise issues that need to be resolved in order to optimize working relationships.
-Balance complicated relationships among partners, customers and co-workers to achieve win-win solutions.
-Solicit input from key players in order to maintain and enhance current and future cooperation.
*B.A. degree preferred, at least 5 years of successful experience in account management/client services; financial background/experience desirable but not required.
