What will I be doing?
Manages the objectives for the department/project and how those objectives are going to be accomplished.
Assist in goal setting, business planning and budget management.
Establishes priorities and delegates work to team members accordingly, while ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Disseminates, organizes and communicates regarding assignments and projects within the department.
Evaluates and streamlines business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the department.
Manages departmental processes and procedures to ensure strategies and directives of department are carried out and in accordance with department and company objectives.
Oversees the development and administration of BTS Specialists, Managers & Directors.
Provides direction and directives to the departmental team members in the performance of their duties, establishing work priorities and achieving management objectives.
Communicates important and necessary information to team members via e-mails, reports and phone calls.
Influences Directors and Managers (i.e. direct reports, team members, department) to accomplish the organization’s mission, goals and objectives through motivation, communication, group dynamics and leadership.
Provides direction and leadership to team members within the BTS Organization.
Works with direct reports to help set goals to assist in accomplishing department initiatives.
Ensures established performance standards for BTS are met.
Assesses actual performance against standards to determine whether team is on target to reach goals and takes corrective actions as necessary.
Ensures business plan is being followed and goals are being achieved and provides feedback accordingly.
Enforces policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the department and Company.
Operates within established budgetary parameters.

Four (4) year college degree or significant work experience in lieu thereof
Ability to travel with minimal notice
Current global account management experience with large volume ($50M ) transient accounts
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Optimum mix of work experience would result in ten (10) or more years of experience in the Business Travel Sales market segment in a national/global sales environment.
Supervisory experience advantageous

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
