Parks layoffs must be closely monitored

AFTER READING SOME OF THE ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATION, I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE DIRECTION CHILLICOTHE IS TAKING IN REGARD TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT AND PERSONNEL. AT THE PRESENT TIME, THE CITY PARKS WE HAVE HERE ARE ONE OF THE FEW THINGS OF WHICH WE CAN BE PROUD. THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT DURING THE PAST FEW YEARS HAS BEEN DOING MORE WITH LESS. THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT DOES NOT RECEIVE THE RENTAL MONEY FOR SHELTERS. THIS MONEY GOES INTO THE GENERAL FUND.
