Job Description Grade: This position provides upbeat, personalized service from first guest contact until reservation(s) completion for all shows located within MGM Resorts International utilizing a \u201cOne Call Resolution\u201d mentality. This position requires exceptional enthusiasm while demonstrating a complete working knowledge of all property offerings. This position is to ensure the wholesaler client and customer reservation expectations are met. Each agent must have complete knowledge of the Archtics upload product, extensive knowledge of reservation functions to include but not limited to booking, exchanging, canceling and upgrades for shows. The overarching goal of this position is to encourage and foster repeat business by demonstrating outstanding guest service that reflects our five-star, five-diamond service culture in every customer interaction.\u00a0 Handles guests in the most courteous and efficient manner while responding to guest inquiries or concerns regarding the guest experience. Processes reservations by file upload, email, fax or via reservations systems. Inputs guest information into Archtics ticketing system, ensuring maximum data integrity and accuracy. Knows the selling status, prices, ticket types, hold classes, package plan and theatre layouts. Knows the wholesale coding for each company. Flexes MRI performance inventory with our Demand Base Pricing Structure. Maintaining a corporate share-point where all reports\/documents will be stored for property distribution. Accurately maintains inventory allocations in accordance with pre-established guidelines\/needs of the ticketing departments. Prepares and distributes letters of confirmation or daily batch confirmations. Manages the wholesale inbox, correcting booking errors or any accounting issues. Makes sure that files are kept up to date. Researches upload issues or any price code access or discrepancies. Possess the ability to communicate effectively in writing. Makes necessary courtesy calls and follow up calls to all guests\u2019 issues. Coordinate with all other departments to ensure a smooth response to guest\u2019s requests. Perform other job related duties as requested. Required: Prior telephone sales or clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Excellent customer service skills. Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Professional appearance and demeanor. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent. Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.\u00a0 Preferred: Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
