More than 540 subsidiaries and holding companies also belong to the Group. \r\rGoals\r\r\rThe New Business & SME Manager identifies and contacts new potential clients with the aim to convert them into contracted accounts for the Lufthansa Group. S/he processes pre-qualified sales leads and registers new accounts in the different loyalty SME programs offered. The New Business & SME Manager fosters loyalty of customers in the SME segment and identifies the revenue potential. S/he champions new business opportunities in the sales organization. S/he is part of the Execute Sales process by acting as key interface to the customer.\r\rTasks\r\r\rManaging New Business\r\r Handle the sales, lead pipeline, and reply to incoming call appointments, if applicable\r Prioritize sales leads from collated pre-qualified lists of potential call targets\r Analyze corporate databases to identify potential call targets\r Prepare sales calls before contacting a sales lead according to available call scripts and other templates\r Conduct a 'welcome call' for new contracted customers\r Log and document outcome of sales calls in provided templates in LH Group CRM sales tools and prepare for follow-up\r Process converted sales leads in the LH Group CRM tool and review/close ongoing sales leads\r\r\rManaging SME Segment\r\r Monthly evaluation of portfolio performance in close cooperation with Account Steering Expert. Identifying new revenue potential in existing portfolio and act as a sales entrepreneur by evaluating and implementing new sales products and programs in order to stimulate further revenue growth\r Re-activate corporate accounts in portfolio and ensure engagement\r Monitor and analyze account activity and customer behavior and performance in close cooperation with Account Steering Expert based on performance data analysis and new business projection monitoring\r Follow up on open sales leads and inactive corporate accounts in portfolio in order to activate and engage the customer\r Provide regular input and exchange with Account Management team, prepare account handovers based on agreed revenue thresholds\r Identify and activate corporate potential bimonthly scan of PPB customer database and target customers with low or no activity in close cooperation with Account Steering Expert\r Competition benchmarking with regards to corporate SME contract, loyalty, and reward products\r Dedicated responsibility for leisure/groups, etc. (if applicable)\r Participate in other duties assigned\r\r\rLocal/Regional Specifics\r\r Responsible for generating additional Premium Product sales (First Class & Private Jet) by using new and existing data sources (e.g. Social Media, BARACUDA, Sales Lead Process) and existing B2B partnerships (Premium agencies) to target B2B customers/customer groups (in liaison with B2B Marketing and GGs, GP/C)/D).\r Creation, negotiation and performance monitoring/management of Premium Partnership and incentive contracts for B2B customers/customer segments. \r Liaise with B2B servicing teams to ensure appropriate handling of servicing requests by B2B premium partners, ensure specifics are known and briefed to provider (e.g. included in Country Specific Manual).\r\r
