Manages the property’s Travel Industry Sales functions and managing expectations and ensuring production goals are met. This includes maintaining the entire transient market including packages, wholesale and consortia’s: Virtuoso, American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, Signature/Frosch, Altour, Travel Leaders, Centurion, , etc.Works with sales leader to promote understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segment.Actively contributes and participates in weekly revenue strategy meetings alongside the Executive and revenue teamDemonstrates a thorough knowledge of market segments by analyzing historical data, trends, comp. set intelligence, shopsAssists with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and externalActively participate on all special projects/events such as Site Inspections, Familiarization (FAM) trips, etc.Partners with Sales and Revenue team to conceptualize and implement strategic focused initiatives, campaigns and packagesPlans and participates in Sales trips and industry related meetings.Participates in departmental sales meetings, marketing meetings, and relevant operational meetingsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with CVB and Tourism organizations to draw awareness and ensure hotel is being represented in an accurate and effective waySells the hotel to the leisure market and constantly keeps the hotel in the minds of the travel agents and customersWorks actively with GSO Team on all production, promotion and current offerings, new happenings, news and offers

Revenue Production and Maximizing Sales ResultsProvides positive and aggressive leadership to promote maximum revenue potential (e.g., sets example with personal booking goals).Directs the solicitation and business negotiation efforts within transient segment to maximize room and outlet revenue and achieve sales goals.Analyze and evaluate effective market trends to identify new business opportunities and re-direct business from competitorsPromotes the property’s inclusion into national and international accounts through tour and travel agent consortiums

Managing Sales ActivitiesParticipates in sales calls on own or with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business and increase awareness of Las Alcobas BrandPartners with the marketing and sales team to plan and direct comprehensive marketing programs to promote the property as a viable destination for travel industry market segments.Selectively sells travel industry business in the interest of maximizing guest rooms and outlets revenue.Develops and implements sales and marketing programs and strategies for the travel industry sales and transient luxury markets.

Analyze and Report on Sales and Financial DataAnalyze and evaluate effective market trends to identify new business opportunities and re-direct business from competitorsAnalyzes market information and strategy to achieve segment’s financial room goals.Reviews sales and guest satisfaction results to identify areas of improvement.Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of market segments by analyzing historical data, trend, flights and visitors traffic
