The Business Travel Sales Manager with Hilton McLean at Tysons Corner manages and serves as the hotels representative to prospective clients and customers who require year round/seasonal hotel guestrooms rate agreement. Travels primarily outside the hotel to initiate new sales, solicit leads, hold conferences and create sales proposals.
This modern conference hotel is a 13.9-mile drive to Dulles International Airport and 13.8 miles' drive to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
All rooms offer contemporary decor and custom-designed beds, plus flat-screen TVs and WiFi (fee). Executive rooms provide free WiFi and access to the Executive Lounge's free breakfast and evening appetizers. Suites add living areas and wet bars.
There's a chic bar and restaurant with a patio and fire pit. Business facilities include a business center and over 27,000 sq ft of meeting space. Other amenities include an indoor pool, a 24/7 fitness center and a free area shuttle.
What will you be doing?
A Business Travel Sales Manager will be responsible for:
Focus on qualifying new local negotiated BTS accounts via outside calls, prospect callings, attending trade shows and industry events with the exception of key national accounts. This includes negotiating contract and agreements with 3
party and FIT partners.
Generate leads for group accounts & catering functions.
Participate in industry related organizations, and local community to develop business. Attain leadership status when possible.
Assist in daily customer relations.
Conduct site inspections and entertain clients on property as needed.
Support in daily office management, including but not limited to sales meetings and daily business review.
