Corporate Travel Manager','1800177','!*!Wyndham Vacation Ownership is currently seeking a Corporate Travel Manager in Orlando, Florida.  This position executes the overall strategy for Corporate Travel and Card programs. Key focus on vendor management, program operation, implementation and expansion into key markets, policy compliance, card management, traveler experience and traveler safety/security.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage, evaluate and develop vendor relationships. This includes service agreement negotiation, ensuring that vendors deliver agreed upon services by measuring performance, identifying opportunities for improvements and addressing shortfalls.Analyze and track travel spend to identify trends, monitor performance and strive to improve preferred suppliers usage. Evaluate program compliance, policies and overall program effectiveness. Define metrics and key performance indicators to measure program effectiveness and service delivery. Conduct regular reviews of financial and operational performance with the overall goal of identifying levers that will mitigate risk and improve financial performance and overall program operation.Oversee day to day operations for both the Corporate Travel and Card programs with a focus on process improvement, customer service, associate inquiries, driving compliance and supporting and improving applicable booking tools.Own the policy communication and compliance for all corporate travel and card services. Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and maintain alignment with company strategy (including support of company initiatives such as diversity and sustainability). Work with Leadership to develop and adjust corporate travel policies to improve processes, reduce risk, and provide cost savings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute global travel and credit card projects. Responsible for driving volume to improve efficiencies within the business and maximize the annual incentive rebate. Work closely with accounts payable to execute corporate travel and card projects.Own travel program communications strategy, ensure appropriate timely information is made available to end users.Perform other duties as needed','!*!EducationBachelor’s degree required, preferably in a Business or Hospitality related fieldTraining requirements Global Travel Professional (GTP), highly preferred Global Leadership Professional (GLP), desiredKnowledge and skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; Must be able to demonstrate strengths in the areas of service and team skills, including ability to work independently and in close conjunction with others.A high level of professionalism and excellent customer service with internal and external customers and the ability to work directly with all levels of management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with audiences at all levels; Ability to communicate information to influence and ensure active engagement from internal and external customers. Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively handle concurrent demands to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.Must be adept at incorporating emerging trends and technology into future business processes and the customer experience. Proven track record of excellent negotiation skills.Domestic and international travel, extended work hours and flexible schedule required.Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.Ability to think strategically, identify issue and find reasonable solutions.Technical Skills High level of computer proficiencyHighly proficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong understand of sourcing tools (Lanyon/Cvent)Job experience 5-7 years prior experience in corporate travel and related activities at a global company. Strong travel agency operations backgroundExpert corporate travel industry know-how, including use of online booking tools from both user and administrator roles and TMC reporting packages. Mature vendor relationship management experience dealing with major suppliers in key categories including, but not limited to, airlines, hotels, transportation. Envision your career with one of the world's largest hospitality companies.
