Our Team

The Travel &
Meeting Services team is a benchmark operation with a highly consultative
approach to achieving the organizations travel and meeting services needs in a
rapidly growing and complex environment. The team’s mission is to provide
industry expertise in support of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s business initiatives. Deliver
innovative tools, technology and spend management controls to effectively
manage programs while insuring policy compliance and due diligence, enabling
our customers to focus on core responsibilities.

 

The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Travel
& Meeting Services team is comprised of several areas of knowledge
expertise; Travel management US Markets, Travel Management international
Markets, Travel management, Executive services, Meeting Service Management,
T&E policy, Sports & Special Events, Travel Communications, Financial
& Contract compliance. These areas
support all of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. business initiative globally including product, sales and
service operations. This is a high visibility team that interfaces with top
level executives, customers, brokers, all levels of employees and a large
number of vendors. This team has been

Our Role

The Travel Manager – Global Programs is an individual contributor role
focused on supporting the growth, demands and unique needs for our domestic
markets. This key role is a strategic
leadership role, managing projects, processes, operational and implementation
aspects of travel through a matrix global team. 
Key skills in analysis, reporting, negotiations and relationship
building while managing performance results metrics are essential. This
position will support the Director of Global Travel & Meeting Services in
program management and support of our global operations. The Travel Manager will review, evaluate and
analyze for business needs, opportunities, and trends to support **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s
requirements. They will be the driver of
daily corporate based operations with strategic travel leadership
responsibilities, vendor management and service procurement. Using their
expertise in global solutions and service delivery, they will work closely with
many levels of business partners, while building alliances with key travel
leaders and suppliers throughout the world. A self-directed leader who will
possess strong analytical and strategic management skills to research and
benchmark service offerings, performance trends and evaluate business analytics
to build programs and services. 

 

A Day In The Life Of A Travel Manager May Include:

Developing comprehensive, analytic reports, based on service
performance metrics and market intelligence, across a diverse international
group.Partnering closely with a matrix team across the
organization, leveraging their expertise when managing projects, evaluating
trends, reporting and issues resolution.Driving the planning, scheduling and delivery of process
improvements.Assembling data needed for development and execution of
strategic plans, to optimize and enhance service performance delivery within a
global framework.Manage business program success and vendor performance
reviews.Sharing critical expertise and knowledge to support goals
and objectives.Leveraging knowledge of travel service platforms, operations
performance metrics and other business travel operations work streams.Differentiating **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Travel & Meeting Services as a
best in class program through a comprehensive understanding of the industry and
the market, synthesizing competitive intelligence to understand future
implications, and proactively communicating trends, innovations, and best
practices to internal partners and leadership.Identifying opportunities to leverage additional tools and
services to benefit **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. Providing guidance in the assessment of goals and strategies
in order to optimize individual operations and service delivery.Owning responsibility for the financial success of the US
travel programs.

Will Offer:

7 years global travel management experience working in a
mid-large, global organizationExtensive corporate travel management, procurement and
operations experienceGlobal integration and project management experienceProcess improvement experience, financial management
experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent required, advanced degree a
plusStrong analytics, superior communications and presentation
skills (including complete self-sufficiency in Excel, PowerPoint).
