OPERATIONS TOUR AMBASSADOR
The Access segment consists of the JLG and Jerr-Dan business units. At JLG, we are committed to being the provider of choice worldwide for access equipment. Oshkosh Access is a segment of Oshkosh Corporation, which is a Fortune 500, multi-billion dollar company. At Oshkosh Corporation we are dedicated to designing and building the world's toughest specialty trucks, truck bodies, and access equipment by working shoulder-to-shoulder with the people who use them.
The Operations Tour Ambassador will provide tours at various plant locations and assist with community outreach events. This role will need to retain large amounts of historical facts about each location and will attend training ongoing to learn about new products. The Operations Tour Ambassador will need to explain how the products are made throughout the plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
• Guide and narrate all plant tours, showing visitors the manufacturing process to help enhance customer experience.
• Represent the segment at various community outreach events.
• Prepare all personal protective equipment for visitors.
• Participate in developing a consistent tour script and keep the script up to date.
• Ensure onsite community events are prepared and setup in a safe and timely manner.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiar with Oshkosh Corporation’s products and history.
• Exceptional verbal communication.
• Ability to interact with people from different backgrounds.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Retain various amounts of information.
• Ability to have a flexible work schedule.
