As the result of increased demand for our services, we are experiencing great growth and will be looking to add professional individuals who want to grow with us.Job Title: Corporate & Leisure Travel Manager Classification:Exempt JOB DESCRIPTION:Summary\/Objective:API is seeking seasoned professional to join our company in the role(s) of Corporate Travel Manager. The position will be based in our headquarters office located in Melville, New York. The Corporate Travel Manager is the client’s main point of contact for Corporate and Leisure Travel. These roles will actively manage existing client relationships with our Airline, Cruise Line and Hotel partners; focused on the best interests of our clients and API at all times. Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Sourcing:Oversee the direction of existing API accounts with the goal of maximizing prevailing relationships to expand market\/wallet share versus pre assigned revenue quota. This will include working closely with Research & Sourcing team to provide all details of a destination to ensure a seamless approach to sourcing the destination.Assist with the sourcing of destinations by initiating the RFP process and being sensitive to supplier relationships. Total responsibility for ensuring the RFP results are documented in the Corporate Travel presentation in an accurate, detailed oriented manner and the presentation meets the needs of the client, demonstrates a level of savings and meets the revenue goals of API.Strategic planning and organizing in order to maximize API revenue, as well as client savings goals; including but not limited to sourcing timelines for expiring contracts and contract renewals.Work with Sourcing and Business Development to assure any new openings, upcoming hotels or acquisitions are being courted for a Corporate and Leisure Relationship.Collaboratively work with the Account Manager\/Director on assigned accounts to ensure client training and corporate destinations are accurate with incumbent and alternative approved hotels.Site Inspections:Conduct hotel site inspections domestically and internationally when required with customers ensuring each property meets client criteria.Contracting:Execute hotel contract negotiations on behalf of the API, contract renewals, and addendums. Keen ability to negotiate mutually beneficial contract terms and conditions. Monitor market conditions in each assigned regions to ensure the best rates and or discounts, amenities and contract terms are maintained throughout the hotel contract.Conduct risk management for each destination in your region to proactively manage any potential risks to the contract based on changes to that hotel or market and negotiate terms that will positively impact our client.Proactively pursue and maintain, at all times, the best hotel relationships where the clients contract.Assist with high volume destinations where API has been unsuccessful in obtaining Commission Agreements.Assist with high volume hotels, where multiple airlines stay either in distress or in Adhoc situations, to assure Direct Bill privileges and Commission is available to API.Day to Day Account Management:HotelExpressEnsure negotiated rates for Corporate and Leisure Travel are loaded and maintained properly on HotelExpress for clients. Audit Monthly assigned destinations, pre-determined during contract.Renew contracts annually.Creating new clients and maintaining parent accounts.Maintain user list and active list for designated regions and airlines.Quarterly Audit of user list.Prepare quarterly presentations for designated airlines of usage and areas of opportunity.Audit Airline specific contracts semi – annually. Audit assigned monthly contracts CrewCare Collaboratively work with the Account Management team to review all comments or concerns relating to Crew Training, Corporate and Leisure Travel.CRM Ensure all Corporate and Leisure Contracts are entered into the CRM when not a Crew Contracted Business and Leisure Rate.Ensure all API commission contracts are loaded, executed and attached to the CRM.Audit and work with Account Manager on airline specific business travel and leisure travel rates being updated in the CRM.Fully understand the Corporate Travel Aspect of your assigned accounts and ensure all deliverables are being met for a successful relationshipStrive to create increased value for the client by providing new points of view and recommendations that are align with desired business goalsWork closely with the Business Development team to ensure a smooth client transition from contract signing to implementationIndependently lead and make decisions that properly balance the needs of the client and APIManage all client communications ranging from weekly performance meetings to business reviewsOwn internal communications to the cross functional team on client performance, strategies and needsBecome knowledgeable in all API technology platforms to ensure clients are align with appropriate software solutionAttending semiweekly account management calls to ensure client satisfaction of HotelExpress System.Provide Account Management Department detailed slides with financial successes, areas of opportunity and upcoming promotions at client business reviews.Competencies:Problem Solving\/AnalysisBuilding RelationshipsBusiness AcumenStrategic ThinkingResults DrivenNegotiationLeadershipCustomer FocusManaging ProcessesMarket KnowledgeDeveloping and Maintaining BudgetsTechnical CapacityCommunication ProficiencySupervisory Responsibility:NoneWork Environment:This position operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, normal core business hours.
