Business Development Manager – Corporate Travel Management

Overall Purpose of Role:
Quintessentially is looking to hire an ambitious sales professional to join its new venture QCTM to develop and build on the success of the business to date. This is an extremely exciting role within QCTM with measured growth potential.
QCTM has grown out of our acquisition of CJL Travel (UK) back in 2016 an established corporate travel management company.
This position requires strong negotiation, organisation and networking skills along with the ability to effectively communicate with and sell to key stakeholders across a number of sectors; including financial services, automotive, property, and tech brands.
Main duties & responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Business Development Manager – QCTM (Corporate Travel Management)
Responsible for developing new business for QCTM in New York.
Exhibiting persistent drive and energy to achieve and exceed annual sales targets.
Proactively identify, call and meet with prospective clients and follow up accordingly: communicating with them by phone, email and meeting in person.
Assisting in building a strong sales network; collecting information from social functions, private events, existing contacts, etc.
Manage the corporate travel business development process from lead generation through to contract signature.
Ownership and management of all the relevant RFP processes.
Input and manage own pipeline and leads in Salesforce.
Measured by quarterly and annual revenue targets as well as other pre agreed KPIs (Detailed in writing 30 days after taking up position and thereafter in each annual performance review meeting)
Self-motivated, tenacious, with strong communication skills, an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to exceed target.
Proven track record within a corporate travel management sales environment with a minimum of 2-3 years sales experience within a Service industry.
Commercial awareness with the ability to construct a compelling pricing structure for prospective clients.
Experience utilising Salesforce for pipeline management is a plus
