Affiliated Computer Services Inc., a subsidiary of Xerox Corp., has announced the opening of 325 jobs in Kentucky.
According to a news release, 250 of the jobs will be in Lexington, and the other 75, including 25 part-time positions, will be at the companies Pikeville location.
“With the addition of these jobs, our Bluegrass Business Development Partnership has helped attract well over 3,500 jobs to Lexington, despite the challenging economic climate,” said Lexington Mayor Jim Newberry.
ACS employs about 4,000 people in Kentucky, with more than 2,000 in Lexington alone. The company was acquired by Xerox in February of 2010.
