Online loan company LendingTree Loans is holding a job fair at its headquarters in Irvine, Calif. on Wednesday, according to a report in the Orange County Register. The company plans to fill 125 positions in loan sales, loan processing, underwriting, funding, title, escrow and production support.
The job fair will be held at the Irvine Hyatt Regency, 17900 Jamboree Rd., Irvine, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Orange County Register report said hiring by lenders in Southern California has picked up recently after what it dubbed “a tough few years.” The story notes two other Irvine-based lenders are also adding workers: LoanDepot.com, which is a new online mortgage company, is adding between 500 and 600 workers and Ovation Home Loans plans to hire up to 50 new workers.
