Google to Hire Over 2,000

The dominant internet search provider, Google Inc., has announced this week their plans to hire more than 2,000 new employees.
Approximately half of the jobs are located in the U.S., the openings consisting of positions mostly for sales representatives and engineers.
‘We’ve been ramping up our hiring and the number of open jobs over the course of the last year,’ said Jordan Newman, spokesman for Google.
Google also made an announcement earlier this month to it’s employees that there will be a 10% raise in 2011, a move being seen as a way of convincing their best workers to stay.
