A $1.2 billion terminal expansion project by Delta Airlines is expected to create a staggering 10,000 jobs.
Along with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, ground was broke last week at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens to mark the start of the Terminal 4 project.
Responding to the upgrade in facilities, the American Airlines and Jet Blue partnership added reciprocal frequent flier benefits to their offerings. Additionally, American Airlines added five destinations to their list of destinations from JFK.
Following suit, Delta responded by announcing their plans to add more international destinations from their JFK hub next year.
