Zappos Expansion Brings 1,000 Jobs to Downtown Vegas

Online clothing retailer Zappos intends on expanding their operations from their Henderson, Nevada location to downtown Las Vegas. The opening is expected to bring some 1,000 jobs initially, which could potentially grow to as much as 3,000 within the next 10 years.
“We’ve known for some time that Zappos has been looking at locations outside of Nevada to expand their operations,” said Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen. “They are a growing company with potential for even further expansion. We are excited for them and for the economic benefits their growth will bring to our entire valley.”
