Gun manufacturer Smith & Wesson is expanding their corporate headquarters which will result in 225 new jobs to it’s Massachusetts-based facility.
In exchange for the more than 200 jobs, the company has struck a seven year deal with the state, saving the company $6 million in corporate income taxes.
The jobs, however, will come at cost. The aforementioned positions currently are in New Hampshire and will be moved to Mass. Per the tax deal struck with the state.
