Layoff News
According to the Denver Post, Quiznos will lay off 140 employees at its Denver headquarters as well as across the country.
Included in the layoffs are midlevel managers around the country as well as full-time employees at its central office.
The company has a new management team that is currently attempting to cut corporate costs and heighten profits across its many franchises.
A company released statement said the following: “Quiznos is commited to franchise owner success. This commitment requires that we operate as efficiently as possible at every level. Continued pressure brought by a slow economy has led the company to make the difficult decision to reduce corporate expense in order provide additional financial assistance to the franchise owners.”
