YPF Oil Output Slowed Down in Argentina by Labor Protest

A rapidly-escalating inflation rate in Argentina is causing unrest among local oil refinery workers. Oil refinery protests continue to stop the flow of oil produced at the YPF Manantieles Behr oil field. Lately, local groups as diverse as security guards, teachers, and truck drivers have been blocking access to the oil fields. Although pay strikes aren’t uncommon during this time of year, the present one is so dire since consumer prices have risen at such a fast rate.
