Potentially 1,400 Layoffs Coming for Broward County School District

According to many news outlets the Broward county school district in South Florida will have to lay off around 1,400 teachers today with pink slips. Most of the teachers involved have been employed with the school less than 2 years or were included in a 1 year only contract anyways. There are allegedly going to be even more layoffs in the future due to the budget problems they are having.
