Rumors of Plans to Sell Niagra Mohawk Power Not True, According to National Grid

National Grid denies rumors that it would sell its Niagara Mohawk Power for the amount of at least 1 billion British Pounds. Niagara Mohawk Power is National Grid’s US based distributor of electrical power to the East Coast regions. The Mail, a British newspaper, reported on Sunday that National Grid would sell its US based company to meet shareholder expectations.
