Federal Reserve’s Balance Sheet Hits Record High

Federal data released by the government showed that the Federal Reserve’s balance sheet swelled to a record high of $2.72 trillion in the latest week responding to the purchase made by central bank in an effort to stimulate the investment and economic activity of the country. The purchase made was a part of the $600 billion program aimed at supporting the economy.
