Convergys Assets to be Purchased by AT&T for $320 Million

AT&T Inc. will pay $320 million to buy Convergys Corp’s assets in their two wireless operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is expected that Convergys will be able to generate net after-tax proceeds of almost $250 million from the sale of the two wireless operations. AT&T said that it does not expect any significant impact of this deal on profit and cash flow.
