U.S. workers need more training, says GE chief

According to Jeff Immelt, CEO of General Electric, Americans require more training for practical jobs. Even though there are over two million job openings in the US, employers are finding it difficult to get workers with advanced manufacturing skills. Private sector must partner with community colleges and vocational schools to provide career training as per their requirements. He also said that U.S government should cut red tape so as to enable job-creating construction and infrastructure projects to move forward.
