No more layoffs for the Hollywood employees now

The city officials confirmed that there is no more layoffs for the Hollywood employees now but has planned to review measures to save the city by $25 million due to budget shortfall in the coming year 2011-2012.
Mr.George Tucker, the attorney for AFSCME Local 2432 who represents the general employees said that the city’s action is unlawful and has dishonored its contract with its unions. He is also planning to take legal action in this regard.
