Google: Clean Energy Innovations Could Boost Economy

A recent study by Google has examined the benefits of innovations in clean power generation, electric vehicle, grid-storage, and natural gas technologies. These clean energy innovations can improve the economy along with quality of life since it will reduce the household energy cost in US to $942 a year. Also this would cut greenhouse gas emissions by 13 percent by 2030. These technological breakthroughs combined with government’s clean energy policies can create 1.9 million jobs by 2030 and increase GDP by $244 billion a year.
