US economy to grow 4 pct in second half – Fisher

U.S. economic growth is poised to pick up next quarter, a top Federal Reserve official said on Tuesday, but faster growth does not necessarily dictate a need for tighter monetary policy.The comments, coming from usually hawkish Dallas Fed President Richard Fisher, suggest little pressure inside the central bank for a quick reversal to its super-easy monetary policy.
