Based on a recent survey, many M.B.A. graduates from top-ranked schools are naming technology firms as the most-desired employers that they would like to work for. However, the desire to work at a consulting firm remains in the number one position among recent M.B.A. graduates. Also, while banks continue to be top career destinations many students find themselves interested in working at smaller firms where they can make an impact in a shorter amount of time. It is to be noted that student interest does not necessarily account for where students eventually work.
