Community colleges booming as Americans enroll there to upgrade their skills

There is a skill shortage and there are not enough Americans to fill the vast number of job vacancies. This may seem contrary to the current unemployment rate. However Community colleges and various companies are seeking employees. In corporation with the government they are helping to prepare students for jobs ranging from manufacturing to health care. Companies are helping schools short on funding to conduct work related programs.
