Lockheed Martin’s aeronautics unit to cut 1,500 jobs

Lockheed Martin announced today that due to anticipated defense spending cuts they have had to cut 1,500 jobs. All of these jobs will be cut from the aeronautics unit, a unit that consists of 28,000 jobs in total spread out across several states. This move is expected to lower costs for customers and reduce spending in general.
