Nomad Aviation Creating 124 Jobs

The Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission has announced that Nomad Aviation, an avionics firm, will add 124 jobs over the next two years, doubling its workforce.

The company will add 33,000 square feet to its existing facility at Orlando Sanford International Airport with a capital investment of $300,000.

The company received a $180,000 Quick Response Training grant from the state of Florida to train the new hires.

The average salary of the new jobs is more than $65,000 per year.
