Tacoma Rainiers Seek Stadium Staff

The Tacoma, Washington Rainiers baseball team is hiring 300 new stadium staff.At a job fair, 775 people turned in applications. “Last year we saw 150 to 200 people,” said Tacoma Rainiers President Aaron Artman.
The Rainiers are looking for seasonal workers — ticket takers, concession stand workers, parking lot attendants.
Job fair organizers will keep the names and numbers of those they don’t hire for future consideration.
The Tacoma Rainiers are a minor league baseball team that plays in the Pacific Coast League, and are the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. Since 1960, a team in Tacoma, Washington has been in the PCL, the longest current active streak of membership in the league.
