Hardide to Shutter Texas Plant, Cut Jobs

Metal surface engineering company Hardide will cut jobs, as its customers’ markets have been hit by the economic meltdown.

The company is implementing a cost-reduction plan, which will include the temporary closure of its manufacturing facility in Houston.

All product and samples being processed in the United States will be transferred to the UK.

Hardide has seven employees in the US and 26 in the UK.
