Oregon Community College Cuts 20 Jobs

Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Oregon has laid off 20 full-time workers for budgetary reasons.

The cuts affect 5.5% of the community college’s full-time workforce.

All six full-time faculty cuts come from the drafting department, which is being discontinued.

Twelve classified jobs and two management jobs are also being cut, and a hiring freeze is in place. The school has raised tuition.
