Over 1,000 Disappointed by Reno Job Fair

A job fair Friday at Reno, Nevada’s Grand Sierra Resort drew more than 1,000 job seekers.

A dozen or so companies, including Wells Fargo, Avon and the Kla-Mo-Ya Casino of Chiloquin, Oregon, had booths at the event.

Some job seekers gave up and headed home after hearing about the long wait in line.

Others told the media the event was a waste of time because only a few jobs were offered.
