Weyerhaeuser Plant Shuts Down, 165 Kentucky Jobs Lost

Weyerhaeuser’s wood-products factory in Perry County, Kentucky has shut down, putting 165 employees out of work.The factory used adhesives to turn trees into building materials for residential construction.
The plant may be reopened if the economy improves.
Weyerhaeuser recently closed lumber mills in Wright City, Oklahoma, and Dallas, Oregon.
