Avatech Decimates Jobs, Salaries

Owings Mills, Maryland-based Avatech Solutions is cutting 10% of its work force and temporarily reducing the salaries of all employees.

The layoffs will affect around 20 employees. The first round of job cuts was made in January.

All Avatech employees, including management, will see a temporary 10% reduction in base pay.

Avatech provides software and services for design, engineering and facilities management firms.
