Amtrak’s Acela Trains Replacement Plan By EmploymentCrossing | Dated: 12-28-2012

Amtrak will replace its fleet of high-speed trains in the East Coast that runs on the Northeast Corridor between Boston and Washington DC. The new fleet has not been determined yet in terms of how many trains will be added or how much the replacement project will cost. However, the main aim of this replacement is to reduce operation costs and to improve equipment reliability.
