Sequestration to Cause Unpaid Furloughs

Obama government considers unpaid furloughs due to sequestration. What was feared all along is likely to happen very soon. The administration might consider unpaid furloughs for federal workers, according to Office of Management and Budget (OMB) controller Danny Werfel. Sequestration was not the idea of the federal government in the first place. Obama government plans to have discussions with the congress in this regard and to arrive at a decision soon.
