Boyd Gaming Corp. announces casino layoffs

Even without specifying an exact number, Boyd Gaming Corp has announced layoffs at its casinos in various parts of the country, including Las Vegas.The company employs about 25,000 people at its 22 gaming properties in eight states.Peninsula Gaming and IP Biloxi in Mississippi are also included in corporation.?Revenue is unpredictable” a Boyd spokesman quoted.The Borgata, was hard hit in the fourth quarter because of the impact of Hurricane Sandy.
