Wisconsin’s LDS Closing, 51 Laid Off

LDS Test & Measurement is closing its operations in Middleton, Wisconsin, resulting in the loss of 51 jobs.Layoffs will begin May 20th and end in September.
LDS Test & Measurement, a Marlboro, Massachusetts provider of integrated vibration test and measurement equipment and software, was sold by SPX to the UK’s Spectris PLC for $86 million in December.
The layoffs are expected to be permanent.
The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development and the South Central Workforce Development Board will provide services to affected workers.
