Perot Systems Cuts Up to 40 Jobs

Perot Systems has laid off between 30 and 40 people at its Plano, Texas headquarters.

Plano-based Perot employs 23,000 worldwide.

In the past year the company has hired 600 people in the US, and has 300 jobs open.

Perot Systems Corporation is an information technology services provider founded in 1988 by Ross Perot, Texas billionaire and former presidential candidate. The company is one of the largest companies in the information technology services industry, and currently has offices in the US, Europe, India, and Mexico. It added offices in China in 2008.
