Medicare Doctor’s Pay Cut | TravelingCrossing

After automatic spending cuts that went into effect on Friday, Medicare payments to healthcare providers will decrease by 2%. Some suggest that doctors will be less eager to treat Medicare beneficiaries as a result, decreasing access to medical care. They point to certain practices that already refuse to accept Medicaid beneficiaries because of its own low reimbursement rates. Others say that even private insurance will be affected by the cuts.
