Airplane manufacturer Hawker Beechcraft is reducing production, and planning an undisclosed number of layoffs at all levels of the company throughout 2009.
New CEO Bill Boisture told employees they will be notified of layoffs within the next few weeks.
Hawker Beechcraft has gone through two rounds of layoffs since November, when it eliminated 490 positions. In February, the firm laid off 2,300. Those layoffs left Hawker with an estimated 6,000 employees.
