Layoffs Denounced by New York School Bus Workers

Sad day for many New York school bus drivers. When school session comes to a close and vacations are announced, it’s a sad day not just for many teachers and students this year but for many school bus drivers too in New York City. That’s because almost 2,000 bus drivers among 9,000 or so have been asked to go home as a part of the downsizing measure by the bus companies!
